Transsion Group has announced the launch of its new smartphone- Infinix Hot 12 Play in the Indian market. The new budget smartphone features a dual rear camera set-up and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The device is powered by Unisoc T610 processor and also features a hole-punch display.

Infinix Hot 12 Play is priced at Rs 8,499 (the current price is an introductory offer) in India for the single 4GB + 64GB storage variant. Champagne Gold, Daylight Green, Horizon Blue, and Racing Black are the colour options for the smartphone. Starting May 30 the handset will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play has a 6.82-inch full-HD+ display with 1,640×720 pixels of resolution. The device comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It has a peak brightness of 480 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.66 percent. The smartphone runs Android 11 with XOS 10 on top. The phone is powered by an octa-core UniSoc T610 SoC and 4GB of RAM. Using the additional inbuilt storage, the RAM can be increased to 3GB. The handset has 64GB of internal storage and can be expanded with a microSD card up to 256GB.
The Infinix Hot 12 Play has a dual rear camera setup with a quad-LED flash for optics. A 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a depth sensor is included in the camera setup. A front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens and dual-LED flash is available for selfies and video chat.
The budget smartphone houses a 6,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. The Hot 12 Play has 4G LTE, WCDMA, GSM, Wi-Fi 02.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, and GPS/ A-GPS as connectivity options. An ambient light sensor, g-sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the onboard sensors. A fingerprint sensor is also included in the phone.
