Instagram is undoubtedly the most popular social media app currently. It is the app that most millennials prefer to be on and considering that it has a global user base of 1 billion, brands and celebrities are very active on Instagram too. This makes it easier for users to get information directly from the brands and celebrities they like. Today, the photo-sharing app has announced the Instagrammer of the Year 2019 awards.
This is the second time that Instagram has come up with these awards. The categories of Instagrammer of the Year 2019 awards include Most Followed, Engaged Account of the Year, Storyteller of the year, Rising Star of the year, Fashion, Food and Entertainment accounts of the year. While announcing the awards, Saket Jha Saurabh, Head, Entertainment Partnerships, Facebook India said, “It’s heartening to see young people come to Instagram every day to share memorable experiences and engage with the things they’re passionate about.
