Since the iPhone Mini has been retired, the iPhone 14 Plus is the newest addition to the roster, and the regular iPhone 14 will take the place of the mini. The Plus model, as its name implies, is bigger in size and has essentially identical specifications to the base model. The A16 Bionic chipset is reserved for the flagship Pro models, while both devices continue to use the pre-existing A15 Bionic chip featured in the prior iPhone 13 series. Therefore, we compared the iPhone 14 Plus Vs iPhone 13 so you may make an informed decision before purchasing the new device.

Our Take
Beginning with the appearance, both iPhones have a very similar design. This means that the display notch will be exactly like those from previous generations, about the same size, and built using the same diagonal camera setup.
Apple is maintaining the same 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display that you saw in the iPhone 13 and also retains a refresh rate of 60 hertz. Note that the screen size of the Plus variant is the same as on the iPhone Pro but with a reduced refresh rate.
Here we would like to add that for the price iPhone 14 Plus comes and that too with a slower refresh rate and touch sampling rate is no longer justifiable with the competition reaching 120Hz with phones that are far less expensive than this.
The iPhone 14 and Plus both use the current A15 Bionic chip, while the Pro models will stand to gain from the newest A16 Bionic chipset. It will be the first time that new iPhones’ internal components are varying, and it is disappointing that you aren’t getting the anticipated refresh, particularly at this price point.
Additionally, the iPhone 13 camera from last year and this year are identical, which is yet another major letdown given that we were hoping for an upgrade.
Looking at the specifications, we believe there are more features that both phones share than any upgrades. If you were to ask us to choose between the iPhone 14/Plus and the iPhone 13, we would unquestionably choose the latter at the price it is currently being offered at.
