The Indian mobile phone manufacturer has announced the launch of its latest smartphone in the market. The company has expanded its Z2 Series in the country by introducing Lava Z2s. The series already includes Lava Z2 and Lava Z2 Max. The device boasts a 5,000mAh battery and it runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. The phone also features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Read on to know more about its pricing and tech specifications.

Lava Z2s price and availability details
The Lava Z2s has been launched in India under the budget segment. It will be available in a single 2GB RAM with 32GB of storage option priced at Rs 7,299. As an introductory offer, the device will be available at Rs 7,099. The phone can be purchased via the official website, Amazon, Flipkart as well as the leading online stores in the country. Additionally, the smartphone will be offered in a single Striped Blue colour option.
The launch offer includes an exchange discount of up to Rs 6,700 and no-cost EMIs starting at Rs 334 per month on Amazon. Whereas Flipkart will be offering 5 percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit cards. In addition to this, there will be 20 percent off on the first transaction with Amex Network Cards issued by ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, SBI Cards, and Mobikwik wallets. There will be no-cost EMI options as well starting at Rs 278 per month on select debit cards only. Additionally, the phone comes with a 100 days free screen replacement warranty.
Lava Z2s tech specifications
Lava Z2s features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 2.5D curved screen offering 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The device will run Android 11 (Go edition) and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio processor, paired with 2GB DDR4x RAM and 32GB of storage. The internal memory can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
On the camera front, there will be a single 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back of the phone with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.
In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, LTE, Bluetooth v5, and USB Type-C with USB OTG support. In addition to this, the handset is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery but there is no fast-charging support.
