Lava Z41 smartphone launched in India at Rs 3,899

Indian mobile handset company, Lava, announced the launch of Lava Z41 in India. The new budget segment smartphone comes with a 2,400mmAh battery along with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear panel. The device will be available in all the retail stores across the country. The phone will be available in two colour options and has 4G dual VoLTE support.

Lava Z41 features a 5-inch display with 197ppi pixel density along with 480×854 pixels of resolution. The device runs on Star OS V5.0 lite skinned on top of Android 9 Pie (Go Edition). Under the hood, there is a 1.4GHz Spreadtrum SC9832E quad-core processor offering 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of imaging, there is a single 5-megapixel camera on the back panel of the phone that offers features like Beauty Mode, HDR Mode, Panorama, Night Shot, Smart Sleep, real-time bokeh, Audio note, Burst Mode, among others. On the front, there is a 2-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling.

Lava Z41 comes with a battery capacity of 2,500mAh. The company claims that the battery offers up to 21 hours of talk time, 37 hours of audio playback, up to 6 hours of internet browsing, 6 hours of video playback and 490 hours of standby time.

The connectivity options on the phone include a Micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio among others. The phone’s dimensions are 143 mm x 73.5 mm x 10.35 mm and it weighs 160 grams.

Lava Z41 Price and availability

The company has launched Lava Z41 in two colour variants Midnight Blue and Amber Red. The newly launched device comes with a price tag of Rs 3,899 for the 1GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage option. As per the company, the handset will be available at 60,000 outlets across the country.

The launch offers include an instant cashback of Rs 1,200 along with additional data of 50GB for Jio customers. The cashback will be transferred to the subscriber’s My Jio App on the first recharge of Rs 199 or Rs 299 in the form of 24 cashback vouchers of Rs 50 each.
