Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone to come with dual USB Type-C ports, screenshots of the promotional video leaked

The smartphone is tipped to feature a 144Hz display

The Chinese electronics giant, Lenovo will soon unveil its gaming smartphone being called Lenovo Legion. The rumours and leaks have been doing rounds on the internet since the company confirmed the existence of its gaming phone. According to the leaks, the device will support a 90W fast charging and will be powered by top of the line flagship chipset Snapdragon 865. Moreover, it will have a 144Hz display. Recently the screenshots of the official marketing videos uncovered the design as well as specifications of the Legion gaming phone. 

According to a report by XDA Developers, an Indian shopping website, Pricebaba shared some images claiming to be Lenovo Legion gaming devices. Although these images were taken from the Chinese Patent Office it is quite unsure that the images shared do justice to the phone’s actual design. Actually the screenshots taken from a  promotional video reflect the actual design of Lenovo’s upcoming gaming device. The two screenshots confirmed that the device will support ultra-fast 90W wired charging. The device seems to feature a dual rear camera set up paced at the centre of the back panel Whereas the Legion branding is done on the rear. The gaming smartphone will carry an angled design on the to and the bottom. Whereas the USB Type-C port is clearly visible at the left side as well as at the bottom edge means there will be dual USB Type-C ports.

Moreover, the Lenovo Legion is expected to run the company’s custom  ZUI 12 on top of Android 10. It is likely to feature a  full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. The display will be offering a 144Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. The processor, as well as configuration details, are not known but as per the report, there will be  LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 internal storage. 

For optics, Lenovo gaming smartphone is supposed to come with a dual rear camera setup combining a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. While on the front it is suggested to feature a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The Legion is said to get supported by a 5,000mAh battery with dual USB Type-C ports.

The company confirmed its upcoming gaming device Legion will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor. As per the official teaser, the handset is tipped to get ultra-fast 90-watt charging system along with  “disruptive” cooling technology to keep the device cool which generally all the devices heats up during prolonged gaming sessions. Furthermore, the company also revealed that the smartphone is confirmed to get a 144Hz display.
