Lenovo Tab P11 Pro powered by Snapdragon 730G and a massive 8600mAH battery launched in India

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro also gets support for the Precision Pen 2 stylus

The Chinese electronics major Lenovo has announced the launch of its new tablet in India. The company has introduced Lenovo Tab P11 Pro in the country to take on  Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Apple iPad Air available in the same segment. The tablet features a 1.5-inch OLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR support. To recall the tab was unveiled globally last year in September alongside Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2 with a starting price tag of EUR 699.

The price of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro has been set at Rs  44,999 in India. But as a 30-day launch offer if the tab is purchased with the Keyboard Cover  (worth Rs 10,000) both will be available at Rs 49,999. The device is now available for sale in the country and can be purchased via Lenovo.com, Amazon and Flipkart and be available across offline retail channels soon. The Tab P11 Pro will be offered in a single Slate Grey colour variant only.

The Lenovo tablet comes with an ultra-slim chassis with a prominent aluminum-alloy unibody. Coming to the specification, Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is powered by 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with 8C 8x Kryo 470 @2.2GHz paired with Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU for graphics. The tablet will be offered in a single  6GB LPDDR4x with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The device features an 11.5-inch WQXGA OLED display offering 2,560×1,600 pixels of resolution, 87% screen to body ratio, 500 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. It runs on Android 10 out of the box. 

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro features a 13 Megapixel primary camera sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. While on the front there is a dual selfie camera set up which includes an 8-megapixel primary camera sensor and an 8-megapixel Infrared (IR) camera sensor. The tablet also ensures added privacy with real-time and automatic background blurring on video calls, using a specialized algorithm in the front sensor, making it an ideal device for working from home.

There is a massive 8600mAh battery on the Tab which comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It claims to provide video playback for 15 hours on a full charge and support USB Type-C Reverse Charging Functions. It also has quad JBL speakers with 2.5cc chambers optimized by Dolby Atmos and enhanced via smart algorithms for consistent user-facing cinematic surround sound.

Apart from this the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro also gets support for the Precision Pen 2 stylus featuring increased accuracy and control through 4,096 levels of pressure and tilt detection. The pen offers 100 hours of usage and a 60mAH battery. The tablet also offers three different modes – to type (keyboard mode), watch multimedia (stand mode) and browse the web (handheld mode). In addition to this, the Lenovo’s iconic “smile” keys feature an upwards curve that resembles a smile at the bottom of the optional keyboard – helping to increase the surface area of the keys for greater precision and comfort when typing. It offers ample keyspace and tactile sensation for quick response and accuracy, with 18mm pitch (letter keys) and 1.3mm key travel.
