Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro with 144Hz display and Mi 10T Lite with 120Hz display launched

The Xiaomi’s all-new series is a follow up of Mi 10 which arrived earlier this year

Xiaomi today announced its much anticipated latest flagship Mi 10T series in the market. The company has introduced two new devices Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro that features 144Hz refresh rate display panel and are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support. In addition to this, the company has also launched Mi 10T Lite which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Mi 10T is the vanilla variant that has been introduced with a price tag of  EUR 499 (approx Rs 43,000) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage while the 8GB variant costs EUR 549 (approx Rs 47,200). The device will be available in two shades Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver.

The Pro variant comes at EUR 599 (approx Rs 51,700) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model has been priced at EUR 649 (approx Rs 56,000). This will be offered in three colour options Aurora Blue, Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver.

Lastly, the Lite variant will be available in two different configurations: 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage models. The 64GB model is priced at  EUR 279 (approx Rs 24,000) while the 128GB variant comes at EUR 329 (approx Rs 28,300). This phone will be available in three colour options Atlantic Blue, Rose Gold Beach and Pearl Gray.

Mi 10T specifications

Speaking of the specification, the vanilla variant comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080×2,440 pixels. There will be a 20:9 aspect ratio with 144Hz refresh rate support protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layering. The smartphone runs Android 10 based MIUI 12. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In terms of optics there a triple camera set up on the back of the phone that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel macro lens. Upfront there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor housed inside a hole-punch display.

For connectivity, the mobile phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. For biometrics, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Pro variant runs Android 10 based MIUI 12 out of the box. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This phone features a similar display as of the standard variant. The only major difference is the camera set up which also includes three sensors but this one has a 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) while the other sensor remains the same as Mi 10T. Also, the selfie camera is identical to the standard one. The connectivity options are also the same as well.

Mi 10T Lite specifications

The Lite version of Mi 10T also runs MIUI 12, based on Android 10. The size of the display is also the same but here it has 120Hz refresh rate support. Also, the smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset with 5G support. Instead of a triple camera set up this phone has a 64-megapixel quad rear camera setup.

The connectivity options are the same as above but this one has a smaller 4,820mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
