The tech giant Microsoft has officially introduced its latest Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 devices in India. Both the products were earlier announced in May before the company’s announcement of the Indian availability.

Microsoft Surface Go 2 price and specifications
Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet comes with a lightweight and portable design featuring a 10.5-inch PixelSense display with 1920×1280 pixels of resolution. It offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 3:2 aspect ratio and 220ppi pixel density. The tab runs on Windows 10 Pro and is powered by Pentium Gold 4425Y and 8th- Gen Intel Core M3 paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage options.
It is said to include an improved battery life with up to 64% faster performance than the original with 8th Generation Intel Core M options. Moreover, it is incorporated with Studio Mics, the dual microphone increases voice clarity and reduces background noise for Teams meetings or video chats. The tablet features a 5MP front-facing camera that is claimed to deliver sharp video even in low light. Whereas the 8MP rear camera can scan documents and whiteboards with autofocus and 1080p HD recording support. For audio, it is supported by 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and dual far-field studio mics. In addition to this the tablet has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, eSIM support, single Nano-SIM tray, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C port for charging as connectivity options
It will be available with Type Covers, Sleeves and accessories in a variety of colours, including Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue.
The Microsoft Surface Go 2 will be available with a starting price of Rs 47,599 for the model with Intel Core M3. The 8GB of RAM with a 128GB SSD will be available at Rs 57,999 with Intel Pentium Gold and the Intel Core M3 option comes at 63,499.
Microsoft Surface Book 3 price and specifications
The Microsoft Surface Book 3 will be available in two screen sizes, 13-inch with 3,000×2,000 pixels of resolution and 15-inch high-DPI PixelSense Display with a resolution of 3,240×2,160 pixels. There is a smooth, precise trackpad, comfortable keyboard. The laptop is powered by 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G7 and i7-1065G7 processors with a choice of discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX or Quadro RTX GPUs. Both have similar specs but the one with a 13-inch display offers 15.5 hours of battery life while the 15-inch model can last up to 17.5 hours. Both also have 5-megapixel front and 8-megapixel rear cameras. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, two Surface Connect ports.
Speaking of the pricing, 13-inch Microsoft Surface Book 3 with 10th-Gen Ice Lake Core i5 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option comes at Rs 1,56299. The Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,95,899 whereas the 32GB RAM with 512GB storage and 1TB of storage options has been priced at Rs 2,37,199 and Rs 2,59,299 respectively.
Coming to the 15-inch Microsoft Surface Book 3 with Core i7 processor paired with 16GB RAM, 256GB storage options come with a price tag of Rs 2,20,399. The 32GB RAM and 512GB storage option is priced at Rs 2,66,499 while the 32GB RAM with 1TB storage model comes at Rs. 2,86,199.
As per the company Surface Go 2 is generally available whereas Surface Book 3 is available only for commercial customers in India. Commercial customers can connect with their local commercial resellers.
