The Moto G22, Motorola’s latest budget phone, has officially launched in India. The device is a strong contender in the Rs 10,000 price range, and it will compete with a number of other devices in the same price range. The phone’s biggest selling point is that it comes with Android 12 out of the box, which many smartphone manufacturers have yet to offer. The phone comes with a 90Hz display, which is uncommon in this price range. A 5,000mAh battery, a 20W TurboPower charger, and a 50MP quad-camera system round out the device’s features.

Moto G22 price in India, availability details
The Moto G22 is now available in India for Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option. On April 13th, the device will be available in two stunning colour options: Iceberg Blue and Cosmic Black. A stunning third colour option for the Moto G22 will be Mint Green. Customers can take advantage of the bank offers and purchase the device for Rs 9,999 on Flipkart between the 13th and 14th of April, subject to availability.
Moto G22 specifications
Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The budget smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, which is paired with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The phone has 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card using a dedicated slot.
There’s a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture in the quad rear camera setup. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens round out the camera setup. Furthermore, the rear camera system includes an LED flash and is capable of recording full-HD videos at 30 frames per second. The Moto G22 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 aperture on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Moto G22 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W TurboPower Charging with the included charger. A fingerprint sensor is also located on the phone’s side. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the Moto G22’s connectivity options. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard.
