Redmi 10A is the latest entry-level phone to arrive in the market by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The pocket-friendly smartphone is a successor of the Redmi 9A that was announced two years back. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. It also features a single rear camera set up and houses a 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi 10A price and availability
Redmi 10A has launched in China in three different configurations. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage model is priced at CNY 699 which translates to Rs 8,300. There is a 4GB RAM with 128GB storage option which costs CNY 799 converts to Rs 9,500 whereas the 6GB RAM with 128GB memory option will retail at CNY 899 which is roughly around Rs 10,700.
The device will come in three colour options of Shadow Black, Smoke Blue, and Moonlight Silver colours. It is currently on pre-order in China and the sale starts on March 31. The device is expected to launch in India as well, but details on the launch are being kept under wraps.
Redmi 10A specifications
The Redmi 10A has a waterdrop-style notch 6.53-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The mobile phone runs Android with MIUI 12.5 on top.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card with up to 512GB.
The Redmi 10A has a single 13-megapixel camera sensor with an LED flash. Xiaomi’s AI Camera 5.0 also powers the camera, which can recognise up to 27 different scenes. The budget smartphone features a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Redmi 10A has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at standard 10W. An accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard. There is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options.
