Samsung Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A13 with 5,000mAh battery launched in India

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy A-Series with the introduction of four brand new smartphones. Along with Galaxy A73 and A33 5G smartphones the company has also launched Samsung Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A13. Both the latter two handsets share some similarities like a 5,000mAh battery FHD+ LCD display and camera specs.

Samsung Galaxy A23, Galaxy A13 price and availability

Samsung Galaxy A13 has been launched in India at Rs 14,999 for the 4Gb RAM with 64GB storage model while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999. The phone will be available in four colour options of black, light blue, orange, and white.

Whereas the price of the Samsung Galaxy A23 starts at Rs 19,499 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option comes at Rs 20,999. The device will come in Black, Light Blue, Orange, and White colour options to choose from. The availability details are yet to be announced.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. The screen comes with 90Hz refresh rate support. The device runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of up to 128GB, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 features a quad rear camera set-up that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and two 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. There’s also an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged quickly with Samsung’s 25W fast charger. The smartphone has 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. An accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, virtual light sensor, virtual proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are among the sensors on board.

Samsung Galaxy A13 features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The device runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 and is powered by Exynos 850 SoC and up to 6GB of RAM with an internal storage capacity of up to 128GB. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy A13 has a quad-camera set-up consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and two 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. The phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone has 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. An accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, virtual light sensor, virtual proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are among the sensors onboard.
