Motorola is now prepping up to launch its next flagship device namely Motorola Nio. The device has now been spotted with model number XT2125 and codename ‘Nio’. The device is the company’s next flagship device after Motorola Edge+ and is expected to come with a Snapdragon 865 SoC along with a triple rear camera setup. It is also indicated that the smartphone will be available in two RAM and storage options.
According to a report by TechnikNews via Adam Conway from XDA Developers Motorola is likely to bring a successor to its Edge series as a device has been spotted with model number XT2125 and codename ‘Nio’ which is expected to use Snapdragon 865 processor along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, it is now confirmed but the report also indicates a 12 GB / 256 GB model. Also, there is a Full-HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080 × 2520 pixels of resolution.
In addition to this, the German publisher also hints at a well-known OmniVision “OV64B” 64MP megapixel primary sensor which is already present on Moto G9 Power or Plus. In addition to this, the ultra-wide-angle sensor from the same OmniVision and is the 16-megapixel “ov16a10” sensor. While the third sensor is again speculated to be “ov02b1b” which is the 2-megapixel depth sensor.
On the front Motorola Nio is slated to come with two cutouts on the display to play house to dual selfie camera set up. The system is said to include a 16-megapixel sensor (OV16A1Q) and a Samsung sensor (S5K4H7) with a resolution of 8-megapixel. Furthermore, the alleged phone will be supporting a dual SIM slot and will ship Android 11 out of the box. The device is expected to arrive in quarter 1 of 2021.
Apart from this Motorola is also gearing up to launch Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power in the Indian market. Both the devices have also been spotted on the Indian certification website, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) suggesting to launch soon. The Moto G9 Power and Moto G 5G were shown with model number XT2091-3 and XT2113-3 respectively.
