Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power soon to make its ways to the Indian market gets BIS certification

Both the devices have already made its debut in the Indian market

Motorola is gearing up to launch Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, both the smartphones were spotted on the Indian certification website, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) suggesting to launch soon.  Recently both the devices were introduced to the European market.

Tipster Sudhanshu shared a screenshot of both the smartphones via Twitter being listed on the BIS website. The Moto G9 Power and Moto G 5G were shown with model number XT2091-3 and XT2113-3, respectively, therefore, confirming the Indian launch.

Moto G 5G specifications 

Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ LTPS display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 394ppi pixel density. The device runs Android 10 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of expandable storage.

The phone comes with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 118-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support and is touted to last up to 2 days on a single charge. As a connectivity option, there is 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS among others. Moreover, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor placed inside the Motorola batwing logo.

Moto G9 Power specifications and features

Moto G9 Power comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720×1,640 pixels. The smartphone runs on the stock Android 10 operating system. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with 4GB RAM with 128GB of storage option. The internal storage can be expanded up to 512 GB with the use of a microSD card.

Moto G9 Power has a triple camera set up on the back of the phone that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79. The camera set up is further assisted by two more sensors: a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, Motorola’s smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and video chats.

Moto G9 Power comes with a 6,000mAh battery that offers 20W fast charging support. On a single charge, the battery is touted to last for 60 hours. There is Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G LTE as connectivity options.
