Nikon Z 5 and NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 now launched in India to elevate artistic aspirations

Stating that the Nikon Z 5 with NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 is a perfect blend for content creators & enthusiasts to elevate their artistic aspirations, Sajjan Kumar, Manging Director – Nikon India, said, “The new entrant produces high quality images & videos that captures the essence of their stories that can be shared with the world. The Nikon Z 5 is compact and lightweight, allowing users to move freely as the camera only weighs approximately 675g. Capture stills and videos beautifully in lowlight scenes and render details sharply even with handheld shooting, camera shake is accurately detected and compensated to provide optimal effect with its 5-axis in-camera Vibration Reduction (VR) of up to 5.0 stops. Get to choose between two VR mode options to meet your shooting needs: NORMAL mode when you are looking to capture still subjects and SPORT mode for moving subjects. In addition, the VR unit is designed with a lock structure feature to prevent the image sensor from damage caused by shaking.

Moreover, the Nikon Z 5 camera has a customisable “i-Menu” that provides shortcuts to frequently used settings in one interface. The camera is made versatile and can store creations more effectively with its double SD memory card slots.

Additionally, the Nikon Z 5 camera has 20 different types of Creative Picture Control that can work like your favourite app filters. The camera supports long hours owing to its battery’s new increased capacity. The camera can be charged on the go as it allows for USB charging and using the USB connectivity to a power bank6 as a continuous power supply.

On the other hand, Nikon’s NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 has a compact body is the shortest and lightest among full-frame format zoom lens for mirrorless cameras. It weighs at approximately 195g and features a button-less retractable mechanism being the slimmest at only 51mm. The focus-breathing reduction feature of NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 will help to reduce shifting the angle of view when adjusting your focus for a good shot.

As far as availability and price are concerned, the new Nikon Z 5 and NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 will be available in combinations from Nikon authorized retailers starting August 27. The Z 5 body only will come with a price tag of Rs 113,995, while the NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 body only is Rs 39,995. On the other hand, the Z 5 Kit with NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 Lens will be available for Rs 136,995, while the Z 5 Kit with NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 Lens to be sold for Rs 171,995 and the Z 5 Kit with NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens will come for Rs 158,995.
