HMD Global, the Nokia licensee, today announced a bunch of new devices in India. The company today introduced the Nokia C3, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 125 and Nokia 150. All these smartphones have already made its debut in other markets. Nokia 125 and 150 both are feature phones while the other is Android smartphones. C3 is a made in India which comes with a one-year replacement guarantee while 5.3 features quad cameras and a 6.55-inch screen.
Nokia C3
Nokia C3 runs on Android 10 and is powered by an octa-core processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The device sports a 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display with 720×1,440 pixels of resolution and 400 nits of brightness.
In terms of imaging, there is a single 8-megapixel image sensor on the rear of the phone with an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, the device features a 5-megapixel image sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 3,040mAh battery with 5W charging support. For biometrics, there is a fingerprint scanner on the back along with an Xpress button to quick access apps.
Nokia 5.3
Nokia 5.3 comes with a 6.55-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The smartphone runs on Android 10 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage option. The device features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary lens, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Micro-USB port with Bluetooth v3.0 for connectivity.

Nokia 125 and Nokia 150
Both devices are feature phones. The Nokia 125 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA colour display with a physical keypad. It runs on Series 30+ software with 4MB of RAM and a VGA rear camera with flash support. It can save up to 2,000 contacts and up to 500 SMS messages. There is a 1,020mAh removable battery that offers 19.4 hours and a standby time of up to 23.4 days.


While Nokia 150 features a 2.4-inch QVGA colour display with a physical keypad. It has a single dual-SIM (Mini) option and runs Series 30+ software. The phone has 4MB RAM and VGA rear camera with flash support. For connectivity, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Micro-USB port along with Bluetooth v3.0.
On one hand, Nokia 125 comes with FM radio while on the other hand Nokia 150 includes an MP3 player and also supports FM radio.
Pricing and Availability
The Nokia C3 is available in two variants: 2GB of RAM with 16GB storage at Rs 7,499 and 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage priced at 8,999. Both the models will be available in two colour options Nordic Blue and Sand and it comes with 1-year replacement guarantee. The device will be available for purchase from September 17 via the company’s official website and other leading retailers across the country. But before it goes on sale the smartphone will be put on pre-orders starting September 10.
The Nokia 5.3 will be offered in two variants of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage option priced Rs 13,999 and 15,499 respectively. From today onwards the company will be putting the device on pre-orders while the first sale will begin on September 1 via Amazon. The Reliance Jio subscribers will be eligible for benefits up to Rs 4,000 on Rs 349 recharge plan including an instant cashback of Rs 2,000 along with vouchers worth Rs 2,000.
The Nokia 150 will be available in three colour options of Red, Cyan and Black. The device is now available for purchase via the company’s official website at Rs 2,299. Whereas Nokia 125 is now available at Rs 1,999 via Nokia.com. It comes in in Charcoal Black and Powder White colour options
