Qualcomm is holding Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. The tech summit will begin from December 3 and go on till December 5. During this period the company is expected to introduce its midrange 5G chipset along with its flagship chipset SD865. HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas has announced that it will be joining Qualcomm to announce its future 5G plans.

Previously, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer has also announced that it will be offering affordable 5G enable phones by 2020. These phones will be half the price of what the current 5G smartphones cost. Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to announce it’s teaming up with Qualcomm during the tech summit to make some important announcements as well as its future plans with the company. As said, Qualcomm will unveil its midrange 5G Snapdragon 735 chipset during the event. After the launch brands such as Realme and Xiaomi will also be able to release 5G enable smartphones by early 2020 in India as well.

Besides this HMD Global is also expected to announce the launch of Nokia 8.2 on December 5. Not much is not known about the upcoming phone, but is expected to run on Android 10 and will be part of the Android One program Besides this reports suggest that the device is speculated to come with a pop up selfie camera with 32-megapixel camera along with a 64-megapixel main camera on the rear panel of the phone. Some also say that the mobile phone will cost around $500 that translates to Rs 35,000 roughly.

To recall, earlier last month we reported that Nokia is planning to launch its own Televisions in India in partnership with Flipkart on December 5. Following the footsteps of Motorola, Flipkart will be responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of the Television. The televisions will only have the branding of the Nokia company. The company has also partnered with JBL to provide immersive sound. The Television will be priced aggressively and is expected to feature a 55-inch 4K panel that will run on Android 9.0 Pie with a custom skin on top of it.
