OnePlus 9RT has officially made its debut in the market today. With the launch, the company has expanded its existing flagship OnePlus 9 Series lineup. The T-Series smartphone is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC.

OnePlus 9RT specs and features

OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch full HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display. The screen offers 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution along with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 1300Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the display also has an aspect ratio of 20:9, 1300 nits of peak brightness as well as 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The OnePlus 9RT is the first to come with Oppo’s ColorOS based on Android 11 out of the box. At its heart, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage option.

The camera department has been taken care of by a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and OIS for stabilisation. In addition to this, the camera module also includes a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens offering an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens.

The rear camera setup is capable of shooting 4K videos and a hybrid focus. Upfront there is a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and EIS support.

OnePlus 9RT is backed by a 4,500mAh battery which comes with 65W Warp Charge support. Besides this, the newly launched handset includes 5G, 4G LTE along with Bluetooth v5.2 support, WiFi 6, GPS/A-GPS, NFC support and Type C port for connectivity.

OnePlus 9RT price and availability

The OnePlus 9RT has been introduced in China, where the phone comes in multiple configurations of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at CYN 3,299 that translates to Rs 38,600. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of CYN 3,499 which converts to Rs 40,900. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option is priced at CYN 3,799 that comes roughly around Rs 44,400. The company will be offering CYN 100 discount translating to Rs 1,200 on the first day of the sale.

The international availability of the smartphone is yet to be announced but the phone will be available for purchase in its home market from October 19.
