OnePlus recently started teasing its upcoming smartphone for the Indian market. The company has confirmed the launch of a new Pac-Man themed device for the OnePlus Nord 2. Till now OnePlus did not reveal much information but in a new development, the device has been listed on the Amazon India website teasing its availability. Not just that the company has also revealed the pricing of the smartphone.
Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has created a dedicated microsite to tease the availability of the Pac-Man themed device for the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. The device is listed to arrive in India with a price tag of Rs 37,999 that is much pricier than the original Nord 2. To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2 debuted in India with a price tag of Rs 27,999.
Although the dedicated page doesn’t divulge much information like OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition specification, pricing or design. But it is suggested to be a gaming-focused smartphone. The Amazon listing reads, “ A fun, gamified smartphone experience featuring the timeless arcade legend Pac-Man.”
The upcoming device is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 77G SoC. To recall, the original OnePlus Nord 2 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It runs on OxygenOS 11.3 custom skin based on Oppo’s ColorOS 11.3 out of the box. It features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Fluid AMOLED display having 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. It comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate.
The Nord 2 equips a triple rear camera set up for the optics that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. Upfront the device sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera that offers dual video, nightscape ultra, group shot 2.0, and more. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge fast charging support.
Sensors on the phone include an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
