For quite some time the upcoming Smartphone Reno Ace by Oppo has been part of the rumour mills. Many leaks, rumours and reports have surfaced on the web sometimes about its specifications and sometimes about its design. The company is going to bring the smartphone to the market on maybe next month as many brands have already suspended their respective launches due to coronavirus spread the company might launch Oppo Reno Ace 2 in China as the normal life there is coming on track. Until now the company has not revealed the exact date of the official launch but Oppo’s Vice President Brian Shen has confirmed the launch on Weibo. But prior to its launch, the images, specifications and design detail of the handset has already leaked on the internet.
Oppo Reno Ace 2 has now been spotted on the Chinese regulator TENAA website. According to the listing, the device is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor which will be offering two RAM and storage options of 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage option. It will run on Android 10 out of the box. It might feature a 6.5 inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen along with a hole punch on the top left corner to house a selfie camera.
In addition to this, it will come up with a circular rear camera module consisting of four cameras. The setup will include a 48-megapixel primary camera lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel binary lenses. While on the front there is going to be a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, it is said to pack a 4000mAh battery that will be supported by 65W wired and 40W wireless charging. It is going to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be available in three distinct colour options black, blue and purple.
To recall the device is an upgrade over Oppo Reno Ace that was launched last year in the month of October. The handset features a Snapdragon 855+ processor, and in-display fingerprint sensor, a 90Hz refresh rate display and supports 65W fast charging.
