Black Shark 3 with Qualcomm  Snapdragon 865 processor and 5G connectivity to launch on March 3

The device is the company first offering that will come with a 5G connectivity

Chinese smartphone maker Black Shark is soon going to arrive with a new gaming smartphone in the market. The company will be launching its next-gen gaming device Black Shark 3 in China on March 3 that is tomorrow. The company has also collaborated with Tencent Games, the developer of the popular game PUBG. 

Tomorrow Black Shark will launch its new gaming handset in China. Black Shark 3 will be the company phone to offer 5G connectivity. Ahead of the official launch, the device has been tipped on the web which shows the smartphone is going to have a  triple camera setup on the rear panel. A famous tipster Xiaomishka has shared an image via its Twitter account that shows the handset’s rear panel. As per the leaked render the phone will have a symmetrical design along with a triple camera system, the camera set up will be placed inside a triangular frame. Facing it there is another similar triangular frame on the bottom half which carries the Tencent Games logo. In between both the triangular frames you will notice a green ‘S’ logo. The first triangular frame features triple camera sensors two above and one below them while the flash is seen just below the camera set up inside the frame.

It is confirmed that the Black Shark 3 will be housing a 4,720mAh battery that will be supported by a 65W fast charging tech. Besides this, the upcoming smartphone will be featuring a display supporting 90Hz display along with a 270Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, there will be Qualcomm’s  Snapdragon 865 processor with a 5G modem coupled with LPDDR5 RAM as well as UFS 3.0 storage.

According to a previous Weibo post by Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, Black Shark 3 will have a dual battery. He explained that the motherboard will be in the middle while the battery is placed on either side. He also claims that the 65W charger can charge up to 2780mAh battery in just 15 minutes. He also revealed that the number of battery charging cycles has also been increased and the device can also be charged with the help of a magnet on the back while playing games.

In his post, he also confirmed that the company will also be launching the Pro variant of the Black Shark 3. This variant will pack a bigger battery that is 5000mAh. As per leaked Antutu benchmark, Black Shark 3 which comes with codename MBU-AO scored  612651 on its benchmarking app. It will run on Android 10 and will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
