Seems like Xiaomi’s trouble with its Poco series have not stopped, the demand is not there and the stock is still there. Xiaomi had launched the first smartphone – the Poco F1 in its new sub-brand Poco last year. The Poco F1 was a mid-range smartphone that was brought to compete with the OnePlus 6-series and it packed some serious specifications. When launched, the smartphone held a starting price of above the 25K, but a year later the price of Poco F1 has been reduced so that it comes under the 20K price range. This was done because the stocks can sell. However that has not happened.
Now again, Poco F1 has received another price cut in India. The 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant of the Poco F1 is selling for a starting price of Rs 17,999. The new price is currently live on Flipkart as well as Mi.com but it is not known if it’s a permanent price cut or is it just for a limited time to get rid of the ailing brand.
Earlier, the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant of the Poco F1 had received a permanent price cut from Rs 22,999, after which it sold for Rs 20,999. Also, the price of the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant of the Poco F1 was Rs 19,999 and now after the indefinite price cut, it is selling for Rs 17,999.
Other than that, Flipkart is also offering a no-cost EMI option for the Poco F1 along with an additional discount of up to Rs 3,000 on the purchase of the smartphone. There is also a 10% instant discount if the purchase is made using an Axis Bank Debit and Credit cards. These sale offers are currently available on both, Flipkart as well as Mi.com. The customers of the Poco F1 will also get a Reliance Jio offer where the users can get up to Rs 2,400 instant cashback and up to 6TB of 4G data for free.
