Poco X3 launched in India, to go on sale on September 29 via Flipkart

This is the Indian variant of Poco X3 NFC which comes with an additional RAM/storage option and a bigger battery

Earlier this month Xiaomi introduced the Poco X3 NFC which was launched across the globe. Today the company has launched the device in the country with different branding and made a few changes to the specification of the smartphone Poco X3 has been launched in India via an online launch event that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G with Adreno 618 GPU. It has a quad rear camera setup along with a punch-hole display to house a selfie sensor. Moreover, you get a 33W fast charging support with a massive 6,000mAh battery on this phone.

Poco X3 is now official in India. Here it will be available in three different configurations of 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage models. All the variants are priced at Rs 16,999, Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999 respectively. The device will be available in two colour options Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey. The handset is scheduled to kick off its first sale on September 29 at 12 noon onwards via e-commerce website Flipkart.

Poco X3 specifications and features

Poco X3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor with Adreno 618 GPU for graphics. This is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. There is a dedicated slot to house a microSD card to further expand the internal memory to up to 256GB. The device also runs on Android 10 based MIUI 12 for Poco. There is a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,340 pixels of resolution. The screen is supported by a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, along with HDR10 support and protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 

On the camera front, there are four cameras on the back of the Poco X3 NFC that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.73 aperture. The camera system is further assisted by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 119-degree of Field of View with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture for taking portrait shots and lastly a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling the smartphone has a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The newly launched phone by Poco houses a 6,000mAh battery that comes with 33W fast charging support. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of the sensor the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor as well as a proximity sensor. The device is IP53 rated for water and dust resistance
