Price drop: Oppo F17 received a permanent price cut of Rs 1,500, now selling at Rs 21,490

After permanently cutting the price of its three new smartphones Oppo has now cut down the price of Oppo F17 Pro by Rs 1,500 in India. Recently Oppo F17, Oppo A15, Oppo A12, and Oppo Reno 3 Pro have received a price cut of up to Rs 2,000 and now F17 Pro is seeing a permanent price cut. The new pricing is now flashed at all online channels including offline retailers in the country. To recall, the device was introduced in September this year along with the standard variant whose price has also been reduced by the Chinese company.

According to the new development, Oppo has reduced the price of Oppo F17 Pro. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option is now available at Rs 21,490 down by Rs 1,500. The smartphone with new pricing can be purchased via Amazon and Flipkart. In addition to this, both the e-commerce platforms are also running offers and additional discounts on their respective platforms. On the purchase of the smartphone, Amazon is offering a 10 percent additional discount to the SBI credit cardholders. Whereas, Flipkart is offering an instant of Rs 1,750 to HDFC credit card customers. On the other hand, Offline retailers will also be running exchange, no-cost EMIs, as well as bank cashback offers.

Oppo F17 Pro features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate panel with a hole-punch design. It runs on ColorOS 7.2 on top of Android 10. Under the hood there is a powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.

The device sports a quad-camera set up on the back of the phone that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Furthermore, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, dual 2-megapixel monochrome and depth sensors with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies there is a dual front camera set up on the phone which includes a primary 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Apart from this, the handset houses a  4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging technology. For connectivity, there is a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
