Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro set to launch in India today: How to watch the Livestream

The Chinese smartphone brand Realme today is going to introduce Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro in India. Prior to its official launch in the country, the smartphones were introduced earlier this week in its home market China. Both the devices come with 5G capabilities as these are powered by Dimensity 800U SoC. The handsets come with a 120Hz high refresh rate and higher touch sampling rate display along with 65W fast charging support. Here is what you can expect.

The Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro are launching today in India via an online launch event. Alongside both the smartphones the company’s first electric toothbrush M1 Sonic Electric Toothbrush will be making its debut in the country. The launch event will be webcasted via the company’s official YouTube channel across all its social media platforms that is going to kick start at 12.30 noon onwards. In China, Realme X7 has been launched in two different configurations of 6GB RAM/8GB RAM with 128GB of storage priced CNY 1,799 (Approx. Rs 19,278) and CNY 2,399 (Approx. Rs 25707) respectively. It will be offered in three colour options blue, white, and a blue-pink. While the Realme X7 Pro comes in three RAM and storage options of 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB of storage at CNY 2,199 (Approx. Rs 23576) and CNY 2,499 (Approx. Rs 26779) and 8GB with 256GB variant at CNY 3,199(Approx. Rs 34280). This will be available in two colour options white, blue-pink and black. The price of all the models is expected to be the same as what is being offered in China.

Realme X7 specifications

Realme X7 runs Realme UI built on Android 10. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution, a 90.8 percent screen to body ratio and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Dimensity 800U SoC paired with Mali-G57 GPU. The device is backed up by a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Realme X7 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.5 aperture.

Realme X7 Pro specifications

The Realme X7 Pro sports a larger 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 91.6 percent screen to body ratio and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layering. It offers 1,200 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut along with 103 percent coverage of NTSC colour space. The device is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1000+ SoC with 9-core Mali-G77 GPU.

This smartphone also has a quad rear camera setup that comprises of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front there is a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. The smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
