Redmi A2+ now comes with a new RAM and storage option in India. The smartphone was previously only offered with a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. However, a new variant that offers more options has just been announced. The MediaTek Helio G36 SoC powers the phone. It has a 5,000mAh battery and a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen. For those who are unaware Redmi A2+ was launched alongside Redmi A2 in March of this year.

Redmi A2+ price in India sale details
The company has introduced a new 4GB RAM with a 128GB storage option priced at Rs 8,499 in India. The new variant will be available for purchase alongside the existing 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option via Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home and all retail partners. The 64GB storage option comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999. The handset will come in three different colour options of Black, Light Green, and Light Blue.

Redmi A2+ specifications
The 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen of the Redmi A2+ (Review) features a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. The new lineup includes a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13. The MediaTek Helio G36 SoC powers the device, along with up to 4GB of RAM (with the option of 3GB virtual RAM) and up to 128GB of storage that can be expanded to 512GB via microSD card.
Redmi A2+ has a dual back camera arrangement with an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA camera for pictures and videos. Additionally, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone also includes a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging capabilities. Additionally, the Redmi A2+ has a fingerprint reader for phone unlocking. The Redmi smartphone has a variety of connectivity features, including a Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, and Galileo, as well as a 3.5mm audio socket, a USB type-C connector, and an FM radio app built right into the device.
