After the confirmation to launch the all-new Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India, Xiaomi’s sub-brand is all set to bring a new smartwatch to the Indian market. On March 9 while launching its new smartphone series the company will also introduce Redmi Watch 2 Lite. The company took to Twitter to make the announcement however the smart wearable has already debuted globally in November last year. It features GPS and a heart rate monitor. In addition to this, the device comes with over 100 workout modes, including 17 professional modes.
On March 9, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be released in India alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G. The company will be hosting an online launch event to present the devices.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite specifications
As we mentioned earlier Redmi Watch 2 Lite has already debuted globally in November last year. So the specifications are expected to be the same as the global variant. The global model features a 1.55-inch TFT display with 320×360 pixels of resolution. The device comes with 100 watch faces for customisation. In addition to this, there is Bluetooth V5 for connectivity.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite comes with more than 100 workout modes, including 17 professional modes. The Redmi smart wearable is also water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 metres).
SpO2 and heart rate monitoring are also included in the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. The smartwatch also includes GPS-based location tracking, and 24-hour heart rate monitoring monitors sleep and stress levels.
Moreover, the smart wearable is compatible with both Android and iOS and can send notification alerts from a connected device. The smartwatch has a 262mAh battery that can last up to 10 hours. It also offers 14 hours of continuous GPS connectivity on a single charge.
Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G specifications expected
The Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and it runs MIUI 13, an Android 11-based operating system. The device’s display is a full-HD+ AMOLED Dot Display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a 5,000mAh battery and 67W Turbocharging support.
A 108-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.9 wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor is housed in a quad rear camera arrangement. In addition, a front-facing 16-megapixel selfie camera is included for selfies and video chats.
Like the Redmi Note 11 Pro, the Note 11 Pro 5G runs MIUI 13 and has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
It has three cameras on the back: a 108-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.9 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
