RedmiBook series has officially launched in India. The new laptop series includes the company’s first laptop models from Xiaomi to arrive in India for the very first time. Although the company has previously introduced the laptops under its Mi brand. RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition have debuted with 11th-generation Intel Core processors. Read on to know more about their pricing and availability.
RedmiBook Pro, RedmiBook e-Learning Edition price and availability details
RedmiBook Pro comes with Rs 49,990. The launch offer includes an additional discount of up to Rs 3500 to HDFC cardholders. On the other hand, the RedmiBook e-Learning edition will be available at a starting price of Rs 41,999 for a 256GB storage variant. Whereas the 512GB variant can be bought for Rs 44,999 in the country. Both the laptops are scheduled to go on sale via Mi.com, Mi Homes, Flipkart.com from August 6 onwards. HDFC card members can avail of additional discounts of up to Rs 2500.
RedmiBook Pro specifications
RedmiBook Pro features a 15.6-inch full-HD display with 1,920×1,080 pixels of resolution. It offers an 81.8% screen-to-body ratio and narrow bezel. Along with this, the laptop comes with an anti-glare coating to avoid reflections and to reduce strain on your eyes while working in a bright environment or under a direct light source. It is 19.9mm thin and weighs just 1.8kg having a metallic body finish. The trackpad is 100cm large and also supports Windows Precision Drivers that allow for swipes and multi-finger taps, which can be used for shortcuts to various programs and commands. RedmiBook laptop will run on Windows 10 Home and is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 11 as per its availability. It also comes pre-loaded with an MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019, making it a productivity powerhouse out of the box.

In addition to this, the RedmiBook equips a 720P HD integrated camera and dual-microphone setup, making it the perfect choice for students and working professionals for all their video-call requirements. The laptop is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-11300H processor clocked at a speed of 4.4GHz and paired with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz along with 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.
In terms of connectivity, the RedmiBook Pro houses a Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 5, two USB 3.2 Gen 1, one USB 2.0, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45), a 3.5mm combo audio jack and an SD card reader. There are dual 2W speakers with DTS Audio that can be customised via the DTS Audio app. It is touted to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life with a 46WHr battery. With a 65W charger out of the box, users can power up their notebook from 0 to 50% in just under 35 mins.

RedmiBook e-Learning Edition specifications
In the same way, RedmiBook e-Learning Edition features a 15.6-inch full-HD display. It also comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home operating system. Under the hood, there is an 11th-generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor clocked at a speed of 4.1GHz. It is paired with 8GB of RAM at a clock speed of 3200MHz and 256GB SATA SSD/ 512GB NVMe SSD. This laptop is specially designed for students, college-going young adults, or office-going workers. In addition, the laptop also features a 720p HD webcam for a seamless learning/working from home experience.
