Samsung has officially introduced its Galaxy A80 smartphone in India. Samsung Galaxy A80 was revealed globally in April this year. The device will be available for registration in the country from July 22 to July 31. The key highlights of the Samsung Galaxy A80 include an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, a 3,700mAh battery, and full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. The smartphone comes with a rotating camera setup along with a bezel-less display and has features like Super Steady Mode and Live Focus videos.

Samsung Galaxy A80 price in India, launch offers

Samsung Galaxy A80 will be available in a single variant that will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A80 will be available in India at a price tag of Rs 47,990. The handset is up for pre-orders from July 22 to July 31 and will go on sale starting August 1. The buyers who are interested in buying the smartphone by Samsung can pre-book the device and they will be eligible for one-time screen replacement offer for free. In addition to this, the company is also offering a 5% cashback for the Citibank Credit Card users.

The device comes in three colour variants – Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black. The smartphone will be available on Samsung India online store, across all the major retail outlets, Samsung Opera House and at all the e-commerce websites

 Samsung Galaxy A80 specifications, features

Samsung Galaxy A80 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM. The devices come with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED ‘New Infinity Display’ that has an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs on runs Android Pie with One UI on top. The handset comes with 128GB of internal memory and houses a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

On the imaging front, it comes with a rotating camera module that boasts of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle 123-degree f/2.2 lens and a 3D depth camera with an IR sensor. When the user selects the selfie mode the camera module automatically slides up and rotates. Additionally, it comes loaded with Super Steady mode that the company claims to lessen video shake. The device comes pre-loaded with a number of other features that increase the photography experience of the user.

On the Connectivity options it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
