Just ahead of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series has been leaked on the web several times. The most recent development related to Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ is that both the smartphone’s specifications have now surfaced in detail. Whereas the leaked camera samples of the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra reveals the camera capabilities of the upcoming devices. Here is everything that we know so far ahead of Samsung’s flagship series launch.
The leaked specifications and the renders have told us a lot about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series already. Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ specifications have now been leaked in detail and the news is up-to-the-minute. According to a report by WinFuture, both the smartphone will run on One UI 3.1 skinned on top of Android 11.
Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will have dual-SIM (Nano) support and to be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC in the US whereas in other markets it will come with Exynos 2100 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage option.
Samsung Galaxy S21 is tipped to feature a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Display with Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen offering 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and a pixel density of 421ppi. On the other hand, Galaxy S21+ is reportedly to come with a bigger screen having a 6.7-inch display and 394ppi of pixel density. However both the panels will come with 1,300 nits of peak brightness and enable 60Hz to 120Hz of refresh rate. There will be Gorilla Glass 7 protection on both displays.
In optics, both the phones are said to include a triple rear camera setup having a 64-megapixel main sensor with a telephoto lens and f/2.0 aperture. Whereas the secondary camera includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture. Both the primary and tertiary sensor is suggested to be supported by optical image stabilisation and 3x hybrid optical zoom. The camera set up is likely to have 8K video recording support at 30fps and 4K video recording at up to 60fps.
Whereas on the front S21 and S21+ are reported to sport a 10-megapixel selfie camera having 80-degree of field-of-view (FoV). The standard variant might pack a 4,000mAh battery whereas S21+ is expected to house a 4,800mAh battery. Both may also have 25W fast charging and Qi wireless charging support.
Moreover, these phones are also expected to be IP68-certified for dust and water resistance. For the audio, they should carry stereo speakers also in addition to 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy S21 will be offered in four shades while the other one will come in three colour options. This information goes in line with the recently leaked renders of all the flagships.
Besides this, some camera samples of the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra have been leaked by SlashLeaks suggesting enhanced night photography.
To recall tipster Ishan Agarwal leaked the pricing of the upcoming lineup of Galaxy S21 smartphones. According to the report the price of the Galaxy S21 is expected to start at EUR 849 that translates to Rs 76,000 for the 128GB storage option. The Galaxy S20+ is said to be available in a 128GB storage and its pricing is expected to come at EUR 1,049 that comes around Rs 94,500 while the 256Gb storage option is said to be priced at EUR 1,099 that translates to Rs 99,155. The premium one which is Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to be priced at EUR 1,399 for the 128GB storage that translates to Rs 1,26000.
