Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with S Pen launched in India at Rs 27,999

The tablet comes with Dolby Atmos support

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is now official in India. The company today announced the launch of its brand new tablet that comes with  S Pen support. Tab S6 Lite features a 10.4-inch display and comes equipped with AKG speakers along with Dolby Atmos support. Prior to its launch in India, this Tab was launched in the Indonesian market in April this year. The device is the watered-down variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, which was launched last year.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 pricing and launch offer details

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be available in two variants Wifi and LTE models. The price of the Wi-Fi only variant has been set at Rs 27,999 whereas the LTE model can be purchased at Rs 31,999. The Tab will be offered in three colour options Angora Blue, Chiffon Pink, and Oxford Gray. The pre-booking for the device has been opened via Amazon, Samsung India e-Store and other leading websites as well as select retail outlets. According to the company, the Wifi only model will be Amazon and Samsung India e-store exclusive whereas the LTE variant will be available through all the leading online stores as well as select offline retailers.

On the pre-bookings of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, the buyers can get Galaxy Buds at Rs. 2,999. Whereas the Book Cover can be purchased at Rs. 2,500. However, both Galaxy Buds and Book cover originally retails at Rs 11,990 and Rs 4,999 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features a 10.4-inch WUXGA TFT display with 1,200×2,000 pixels of resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 1TB. The tablet runs on One UI 2.0 skinned on top of Android 10. 

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and is capable of recording videos in 1080p at 30fps. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera housed inside a punch-hole design display. 

For connectivity, there is 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS support and USB Type-C port. It also equipped AKG speakers and has Dolby Atmos support for 3D surround sound. The Samsung Tablet packs a 7,040mAh battery that delivers video playback time of up to 13 hours. Additionally, the Tablet is supported with an  S Pen that comes with a 0.7mm tip and is 7.03 grams in weight.
