Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is all set for today. The company will be hosting an online event to unveil its third generation foldable smartphone globally as well as in India. However, the company has not yet disclosed but it is going to introduce Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 that will be succeeding their predecessors that were launched last year. 

Both the devices have been part of the rumour mills and we came across some leaks and reports that have already revealed the pricing and tech specs of the phone ahead of the official announcement. Besides this, the company is also likely to announce Galaxy Buds 2 TWS earbuds alongside the Galaxy Watch 4.

How to watch Livestream of Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for today. It is going to be an online presentation that will kickstart at 10 AM ET and 7.30 PM IST. The dedicated launch event will be live-streamed through the company’s official website, social media channels as well as YouTube channel.

What to expect?

Both the upcoming foldable smartphones are said to be sporting an even more refined style, armed with more durable, stronger materials. In addition to this, both will bring the new S Pen support. It should be noted that the South Korean company is speculated to launch Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also get popular apps and services from Google. Additionally, the device will more optimise the hands-free video calling experience with Google Duo and watching videos in Flex mode on YouTube to multitasking in Microsoft Teams.

Whereas leaks suggest that Galaxy Z Fold 3 is likely to come with a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED secondary display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also get a triple rear camera setup that includes three 12-megapixel sensors. The phone will pack a 4,400mAh battery. The foldable phone is speculated to come with a price tag of Rs 1,49,990

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is said to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display with a high refresh rate. Furthermore, it may feature a dual-camera setup on the outside housing a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The device may also include a 10-megapixel sensor for selfies on the inside. It is likely to be fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with wired and wireless fast charging support. The clamshell foldable phone is expected to be priced between Rs 80,000 and Rs 90,000.

On the other hand, Samsung is also suggested to introduce Galaxy Buds 2 at the Galaxy Unpacked event today. The TWS earbuds are said to be available in Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White colours. The earbuds will feature ANC and dual microphones to detect environmental noise with two-way speakers. These are said to prove up to 20 hours of playback on a single charge. The earphones are expected to be priced at EUR 149.99 that translates to Rs 13,100.

Lastly, the Galaxy Watch 4 will feature a 1.19-inch AMOLED display and will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Reportedly, it will be powered by Exynos W920 SoC price starting EUR 309 (approx Rs 27,300) for the 44mm model and EUR 279 for the 40mm dial model. There will be another Classic model in 42mm size priced at EUR 379 ( Rs 33,500) and the 46mm variant to cost EUR 409 (approx Rs 36,100).
