Samsung launched four new AKG earphones and headphones in India

All the models are priced between 6,999 and Rs 26,999

The South Korean electronics brand, Samsung, launched four new AKG Headphones in India. The company launched Y100, Y500, N200 and N700NC M2 wireless headphones and earphones in the country. The Samsung owned AKG headphones are priced between Rs 6,699 and Rs 26,999. All the models can be purchased via Samsung e-store, exclusive outlets and other top retailers.

AKG has a 72-year old legacy in sound engineering and rich heritage in design. At Samsung, we are extremely proud to bring this new exciting lineup of headphones. These products embody Samsung’s “DoWhatYouCan’t” philosophy by offering immersive music experience to consumers exactly as the artist intended. We are sure that AKG headphones will be a delight to our consumers,” said Aditya Babbar, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India.

The new AKG N200 earphones come with tangle-free fabric cable with Apt-x technology and AAC codec support that delivers outstanding audio quality. It comes with a battery life of up to 8 hours along with fast charging support. It offers up to one hour of playback time with 10 minutes of charging.

On the other hand, an AKG N700NC M2 headphone comes with up to date Adaptive Noise Cancelling technology along with sleek and elegant design. The company claims that the headphones deliver warm bass response and unmatched clarity. The AKG headphones app allows the user to control the headphones to adjust the equaliser as well as the noise cancellation frequency. It offers up to 23 hours of playback along with noise cancellation feature and Bluetooth connectivity. It comes with a foldable design along with a carrying case for travelling purposes.

AKG Y500 on-ear wireless headphones deliver up to 33 hours of playback time. The headphones come in 5 colour options. The play pause automation feature pauses the music automatically when the user takes off the headphones and turns on when the device is put back on. It comes with a multi-point connectivity option that ensures better connectivity hence allowing the user to connect two devices via Bluetooth simultaneously. The headphones also have an Ambient Aware Mode which allows to let in surrounding ambient sound.

AKG Y100 earphones come in a neckband type design that is light and durable. It also comes with the Ambient Aware Mode so that the user doesn’t miss any important announcements while travelling or any interesting conversation.

Price and Availability

Samsung has launched the AKG Y100 earphones with a price tag of Rs 6,999 while the AKG N200 earphones and AKG Y500 on-ear headphones both are priced at Rs 9,999. The AKG N700NC M2 headphones will be available at Rs 26,999. As said, all the models can be purchased via Samsung E-store, exclusive outlets as well as on all the leading retailers in India. The devices will also be available soon via online platforms also.
