Both devices have similar configurations and display sizes, but the Motorola Edge 30’s display supports 144Hz whereas the M53’s display supports 120Hz. The Motorola Edge 30 5G has an OLED display, whereas the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has a Super AMOLED Plus display.
The 108MP Quad Rear Camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G outperforms the 50MP triple camera setup on the Motorola Edge 30 5G, but both phones have the same 32MP Front Camera. Both phones are powered by Android 12.
The Motorola Edge 30 is powered by a new Snapdragon 778G+ SoC with Adreno 642L GPU. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is featured in the Samsung Galaxy. Both smartphones, however, will be equally quick thanks to best-in-class mid-range processors.
