Sony BRAVIA X80L series has been introduced in India today. The lineup includes three Smart TVs in sizes 43 inches, 50 inches, and 85 inches. The latest Bravia TVs have a TRILUMINOS Pro display with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. All the models are powered by Google TV which offers access to over 10,000 apps and games.
Sony BRAVIA X80L series features
The Sony BRAVIA X80L series includes TRILUMINOS Pro displays in 43 inches, 50 inches, and 85 inches sizes. The models are powered by X1 4K HDR picture processor with an Object-based HDR remaster for greater depth, textures, and more realistic pictures. The TRILUMINOS PRO algorithm is said to detect colour from saturation, hue, and brightness to reproduce natural shades in every detail with Dolby Vision support.
The Bravia TV includes a 20W X-balanced speaker feature with Dolby Atmos support. It comes integrated with Google TV that offers 10,000+ Apps & games along with 700,000+ Movies and TV series. The Sony BRAVIA X80L also supports Apple Home Kit and AirPlay that integrates Apple devices like iPads and iPhones with the TV for effortless content streaming.
The device comes pre-loaded with the BRAVIA Core app that allows redemption of 5 current releases and classic blockbusters films with unlimited streaming of top movies. You will be able to access a large library of Sony Picture’s movies available to stream in nearly 4K Blu-ray technology.
One doesn’t need to operate the Television with a remote, it can also be accessed with your voice command. The built-in microphones on the TV provide a hands-free experience with Google Assistant to search and play TV shows, movies, and more without using the TV remote.
Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode on the smart TV enhance your gaming experience on the PS5. The HDR settings will be instantly optimised during the first setup of your PS5 console using Auto HDR Tone Mapping. Each BRAVIA TV model is immediately recognised by your PS5, which then chooses the appropriate HDR setting for your TV. According to the manufacturer, the Bravia X80L has HDMI 2.1’s Auto Low Latency Mode. There is also a gaming menu that gives players easy access to customization choices like turning on or off VRR or Motion Blur Reduction.
Sony BRAVIA X80L series price in India and availability
Sony BRAVIA X80L series will be available in three sizes 43-inch, 50-inch, and 85-inch. The price starts at Rs 99,900 for the 43-inch model whereas the 50-inch variant comes with a price tag of Rs 1,14,900. The price of the 85-inch model is yet to be announced. Both the 43 and 50-inch models will be available for purchase via Sony Centers, major electronic stores, and e-commerce portals in India starting April 19.
