Tecno Pova powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC launched in India at Rs 9,999

Transsion holding smartphone brand Tecno Mobile today introduced a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company has launched Tecno Pova as its latest offering under Rs 10,000 price segment. The device comes with a whopping 6,000mAh battery to last longer. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor with an in-built Hyper Engine Gaming Technology.

Tecno Pova price in India and availability details

Tecno Pova has been launched in India in two different configurations. The 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage is priced at Rs 9,999 whereas the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999. The device will be available in Dazzle Black, Magic Blue, and Speed Purple colour options. The smartphone will go on sale starting December 11 via e-commerce website Flipkart from 12 noon onwards.

Tecno Pova technical specifications

Tecno Pova comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ 720×1,640 pixel of resolution and  20.5:9 aspect ratio. Its display also offers a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and 480 Nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a separate slot for a microSD card to expand the storage up to 256GB.

In terms of photos and videos, Tecno Pova features a quad rear camera setup that includes a  16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 aperture. In addition to this, the device has a two 2-megapixel macro lens and a portrait lens with an  AI lens. The camera setup supports Photography modes like Bokeh, Macro, Slow Motion, Short video, 2K video recording, AI body shaping, Google Lens, Document scanner among others. It also supports slow-motion videos at 120 fps continuous recording at 720p HD Quality. For taking selfies the device sports an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. 

Apart from that, the device is fuelled by a 6,000mAh battery which comes with 18W dual IC fast charging support. The sensors on the mobile phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, proximity sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the handset also includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack as connectivity options.
