Vivo V20 SE with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and 33W fast charging launched

The device is the toned-down variant of Vivo V20 series

Vivo recently unveiled its latest V20 series of smartphones in the market. Yet again the company has come up with a new SE model to the latest series. Vivo V20 SE will now join its other siblings Vivo V20 and V20 Pro. The new SE comes with a triple rear camera set up, 33W fast charging support and a waterdrop-style notch display. Moreover, the phone brings a new 3D design on its back panel and it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor.

Vivo V20 SE is the company’s third smartphone to its latest line up which comes with toned down specifications. The price of the device has been set at MYR 1,199 that translates to Rs 21,300 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The phone comes in two colour options Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue and is now available in Malaysia.

To recall Vivo V20 Pro has been launched in a single 8GB RAM variant priced at TBH 14,999 that translates to Rs 35,300. It has been introduced in various colour options Moonlight Sonata, Midnight Jazz, and Sunset Melody shades. On the other hand, the Vivo V20 pricing and variant are yet to be announced by the company but this will be offered in Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody colour options.

Vivo V20 SE specifications

Vivo V20 SE comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android 10 and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

On the imaging front, Vivo V20 SE features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture. The camera set up is further assisted by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture. It supports Super Night Mode, Live Photo, AR Stickers, and 4K video recording. While on the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The camera supports Portrait Mode, Super Night Selfie, Selfie Fill Light, and a Video Face Beauty.

The Vivo V20 SE houses a 4,100mAh battery that supports 33W FlashCharge fast charging tech. On the connectivity front, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port for charging. In terms of sensors, there is an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, a proximity sensor and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
