Vivo X Fold is launching on April 11, key specs teased ahead of the official release

The Vivo's foldable phone is going to feature a folding screen 2.0.

The Chinese smartphone company Vivo is all set to introduce its first foldable smartphone in the market. The device will be called Vivo X Fold and it will be released in China on April 11. The company is also expected to present Vivo Pad and Vivo X Note alongside the Vivo X Fold. The company has not yet confirmed but Vivo has teased the design and colour options for the Vivo Pad ahead of the official announcement.

According to a Weibo post, the Vivo X Fold launch will take place in China on April 11. As the name suggests the device will have a folding screen 2.0 along with a curved outer display.

This is going to be Vivo’s first foldable phone and is likely to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED primary display and an 8-inch foldable AMOLED panel. Additionally, the upcoming phone is rumoured to have a quad rear camera set up. The device is also said to house a 4,600mAh battery.

Additionally, Vivo Pad and Vivo X Note are expected to be released alongside the Vivo X Fold. The Chinese firm has also revealed the design and colour options for the Vivo Pad in a series of images posted on the Chinese microblogging platform.

According to the post, the Vivo Pad will be available in two colours: Deep Space Gray and Sky Blue. The Vivo Tablet will feature an all-metal design and will be a thin as well as a light device that can be used in the office, for entertainment and for attending online classes. The Tablet is said to be connected to a keyboard and a stylus pen will be supported.

The configurations of both the Vivo X Fold and Vivo Pad have been tipped ahead of the official release. The Vivo X Fold foldable smartphone could come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It is expected to come out in blue and orange.

In Blue and Grey colour options, the Vivo Pad could be released with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.

The Weibo post also highlights the Vivo X Note smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The device will be made available in three colour options of Black, Blue, Grey, and Orange. The Orange variant of both Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Note may be released later.
