Vivo X50 series to launch in India soon

Vivo X50 Pro+, Vivo X50 Pro and Vivo X50 have gone official this week in China. The Vivo X50 series is ready to get launched in India very soon. The company’s CEO, Jerome Chen has revealed this through his Facebook post however he did not reveal the exact timeline for the India launch. The new Vivo series comes with 5G support aligned with a hole-punch design display and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo India Chief Jerome Chen took to Facebook to announce the arrival of its just-launched Vivo X50 series. His FB post reads, Light up the cities. X50 Series is coming on 1st June. Coming to India soon… Stay tuned!” He also did share some sample images taken from one of the smartphones from the series showcasing the camera capabilities of the devices.

Vivo X50 series expected pricing 

Vivo X50 has been launched in two variants:

8GB RAM + 128GB storage – CNY 3,498 that translates to Rs 37,100.

8GB RAM + 256GB storage – CNY 3,898 that translates to Rs  41,300.

The device comes in Black Mirror, Shallow and Liquid Oxygen colour options. 

The Vivo X50 Pro will be available in:

8GB RAM + 128GB storage option at CNY 4,298 that translates to Rs 45,600

 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option at CNY 4,698 that translates to Rs  49,800

It comes in two colour options Black Mirror and Liquid Oxygen.

Lastly, the Vivo X50 Pro+ has been introduced in:

8GB RAM + 128GB storage option at CNY 4,998 that translates to Rs  53,000

8GB RAM + 256GB storage option at CNY 5,498 that translates to Rs 58,300

12GB RAM + 256GB storage option at CNY 5,998 that translates to Rs 63,300

Vivo X50 series specifications

All the devices under the series run on Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10.5. Both Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phones feature a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED curved-edged display with 90Hz refresh rate support. Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro pack a 4,200mAh battery and 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support respectively.

Whereas Vivo X50 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with  12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. The 5G smartphone features a 6.56-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device boasts a 4,315mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. In terms of cameras, all the phones come with quad rear camera setups. The difference is both Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor while the elder sibling features a 50-megapixel main camera sensor. While on the front all the smartphone sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
