Vivo Y15c powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC launched in India

The Vivo Y15c has quietly arrived in India. The company has listed the device on the Vivo India website without any official announcement. The device is the latest entry-level phone featuring a dual rear camera and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. In addition to this Vivo Y15c comes with a 5,000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y15c price and availability in India have yet to be announced. But it has been listed on the company’s official website in the country. As per the listing, the device will come in two colour options of Mystic Blue and Wave Green.

In terms of pricing the device the price of the Vivo Y15c could be similar to the Vivo Y15s, which was released in the country in February and has identical specifications.

Vivo Y15c price in India and availability

To recall, Vivo Y15s arrived in India in February this year in a single 3GB RAM with a 32GB storage option priced at Rs 10,990. The device comes in two colour options of Mystic Blue and Wave Green.

Vivo Y15c specifications

The Vivo Y15c is highlighted with a 6.51-inch HD IPS display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution. The screen comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Moreover, the mobile phone runs on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top. The handset comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC along with 3GB of RAM and is available in 32GB and 64GB storage capacities. There is a provision for a MicroSD slot that supports internal memory expansion of up to 1TB.

In terms of photos and videos, Vivo Y15c features a dual rear camera system that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 as well as a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. In addition to this, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling.

The Vivo Y15c comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W reverse charging. As per the company, the phone can stream HD movies for nearly 19 hours. 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port are among the Vivo Y15c’s connectivity options. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also included with the phone. For the sensor, the device includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor
