The Chinese smartphone company Vivo today announced the launch of its new budget smartphone Vivo Y20A in India. The device has been introduced below Rs 15,000 price segment. The key features include a 5,000mAh battery, a waterdrop notch display and is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC. It comes with Android 11 out of the box.
Vivo Y20A price and availability details
Vivo Y20A has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 11,490 for the single 3GB of RAM with 64GB of storage option the device is available in two colour options of Nebula Blue and Dawn White. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting January 2. The sale will be accessible across mainline partner retail stores, Vivo India E-store, and other leading e-commerce websites.
Vivo Y20A technical specifications
As for the specification, Vivo Y20A comes with a 6.51-inch Halo iView HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels. It provides an aspect ratio of 20:9. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that unlocks the phone in just 0.26s. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card. It runs on FunTouch OS 11 based on the top of Android 11.
In terms of camera capabilities, Vivo Y20A features a 13-megapixel primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, there is a 2-megapixel bokeh camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2,4 aperture. The camera app is supported by a wide range of features that include Face Beauty and filters. For taking selfies and video calling there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, there is a Micro-USB port, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2 among others. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The battery is touted to last for more than 17 hours of online HD movie streaming, and more than 10 hours of intensive games.
