The Chinese smartphone company, Vivo, is expected to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market today. The company is likely to introduce Vivo Y33s today in India via offline stores and is expected to be available through online retailers also. Last week the phone’s pricing, specification and design were tipped. The device got accidentally listed on Amazon, which was later taken down. The key highlights of the smartphone will include a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display and a triple rear camera setup headlined with a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
According to a report, Vivo Y33s price was revealed in an Amazon listing that was taken down later from the website. As per the listing, the device is expected to be priced at Rs 17,990 for the 8GB RAM with a 128GB storage model. In addition, the device was listed to arrive in two colour options of which one Midday Dream colour option was revealed through the listing. The device will also offer no-cost EMI and exchange offers
Reportedly, the device may get launched in India today and will be available via offline as well as offline stores in the country.
Speaking of the specifications, Vivo Y33s is listed to feature a 6.58-inch FHD+ Halo FullView display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels of resolution. The screen may also offer a 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a blue light filter. The phone will run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. It is said to be powered by a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 8GB RAM (4GB virtual RAM) and 128GB of storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
In terms of cameras, Vivo Y33s is likely to come with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, there will be a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the device may feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera is listed to include features like Super Night Mode, Ultra Stable Video, Super HDR, and Eye Autofocus on the rear. While the front sensor will offer Aurora Screen Light, Super Night Selfie, Multi-Style Portrait, and Video Face Beauty.
The phone is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh, with support for 18W charging. For connectivity, it could include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB OTG. It may also sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
