Vivo Y51 (2020) to launch in India soon, bags BIS certification

The Chinese smartphone company Vivo a few months back launched Vivo Y51, 2020 model, in Pakistan. Now the company is planning to bring the device to the Indian market. Recently the mid-range phone model number Vivo V2030 has received BIS certification from the India regulatory. The phone comes with an AMOLED display and a 48-megapixel quad rear camera setup. Moreover, it comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and also runs Android 10.

Recently Vivo Y51 (2020) has bagged BIS certification which clearly hints at imminent launch in India. The model number Vivo V2030 has cleared the BIS and expects the model number no other information has not been revealed. Similarly, with the same model number, the device has also been spotted on the Indonesian Telecom certification website where the moniker of the device clearly mentions Vivo Y51.

To recall Vivo V51(2020) was introduced in a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model in Pakistan priced at PKR 36,999 that translates to Rs 16,300. In India, the company is expected to launch the device at the same pricing and in same colour options of Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue and Dreamy White

Coming to the specifications Vivo Y51 (2020) features a full-HD+ 6.38-inch AMOLED display with 1,080×2,340 pixels resolution with a waterdrop-style notch to house a selfie camera. The smartphone also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and an Always-on Display mode. The Vivo smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB of storage using a microSD card. The mobile phone runs Funtouch OS 10, based on Android 10.

For the photos and videos, Vivo Y51 (2020) comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. The camera set up includes palm capture, voice control, slow-motion recording, super macro, super night mode, and AI face beauty camera modes. While on the front there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

In addition to this Vivo Y51 (2020) is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
