Since a long time, rumour mills have been churning news that WhatsApp will soon enable its users to use their accounts on multiple devices at the same time as its working on multi-devices support. As of now, WhatsApp users can access the instant messaging app on other devices like desktops or laptops only via WhatsApp Web. But now a WABetainfo report has revealed that the Facebook-owned instant messaging app has started with internal testing of the much-anticipated multi-devices feature for WhatsApp users. Mind you! The WABetainfo report has yet mention by when WhatsApp will roll out this feature.

According to a Twitter post by Wabetainfo, “From now on WhatsApp is internally starting some important tests for the multi device feature. It’s not available yet and there isn’t a release date: it could be next two months, four months, six months… but it’s really positive that they have started to test it on the whole.”

With the launch of multi-devices support, it is believed that WhatsApp could make on iPad too. In March, WhatsApp Dark mode was made available on iPhone and Android.

Dark mode for WhatsApp offers a fresh look on a familiar experience. It’s designed to reduce eye strain in low light environments. And we hope it helps prevent those awkward moments where your phone lights up the room.

According to a blog post by WhatsApp, “When designing dark mode we spent time researching and experimenting with a focus on two particular areas:

  1. Readability: When choosing colours, we wanted to minimize eye fatigue and use colours that are closer to the system defaults on iPhone and Android respectively.
  2. Information Hierarchy: We wanted to help users easily focus their attention on each screen. We did this by using colour and other design elements to make sure the most important information stands out.”

In order to access WhatsApp Dark mode, Users on Android 10 and iOS 13 can enable it in system settings. On the other hand, WhatsApp users on Android 9 and below can go into:
