Whirlpool fully automatic top load washing machines with built-in water heater launched in India

The company claims that its washing machines are helpful at removing 99% harmful bacteria and allergens from the clothes.

In order to support the people in the times of coronavirus, Whirlpool Corporation has announced the launch of its wide range of fully automatic top load washing machines with advanced inbuilt heater technology to help users keep their clothes well cleaned and sanitised. These days many companies are launching products to help people doing house chores or keep their home or their appliance germ-free. So, the Whirlpool’s new range of washing machines comes with a built-in heater to eliminate all the dirt as well as harmful bacteria. And yes, the device is Anti-bacterial Cycle certified.

KG Singh, Vice President – Marketing, Whirlpool of India said, “Consumers today are more vigilant of their health and hygiene than ever before. Keeping in mind the need of the hour, Whirlpool has fast-tracked its efforts to provide superior Sanitization along with best in class Wash Performance with the launch of the WhiteMagic Elite Plus range. This feature is also present across Stainwash Pro and Bloomwash Pro ranges through a special anti-bacterial cycle that ensures up to 99.9% germs and allergen-free wash. This innovation comes from over 100 years of expertise of Whirlpool in building washing machines leveraging its proprietary 6th Sense algorithms.”

According to the company the new range of Whirlpool fully automatic top load washing machines not only cleans the clothes but also 99.9% harmful bacteria and allergens from the clothes at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. This special Anti-bacterial cycle by Whirlpool is tested and approved as per global sanitization protocol NSFP172.

The fully automatic top load washing machines will be available in capacities ranging from 6.5Kg to 13Kg starting at Rs 18,000 and goes up to Rs 46,624. The range of new Whirlpool washing machines will be available for purchase via the company’s official online store in India.

The Whirlpool fully automatic top load washing machines come with enhanced stains and germs removal features for hassle-free washing experience. For this, the company is also running #SanitiseWhatYouWear, a digital campaign for the Everyday Care products. The washing machines come with a 6-stage wash process involving varying water temperatures and wash motions, ensuring tough stains removal like mud, grass, ketchup, etc. The Inbuilt heater helps remove 50 different types of tough stains even after 48 hours.

In addition to this the Whirlpool washing machines come integrated with three hot water modes – Warm, Hot and Allergen free. Therefore, taking care of the fabrics while also ensuring sanitized washing and care of clothes.

With Eco awash mode the washing machines are claimed to use an optimised wash algorithm for low water and energy consumption. Also, the device comes with a 5-star energy rating. As per the company, these features are also available across its range of WhiteMagic Elite Plus range, Stainwash Pro and Bloomwash Pro ranges.
