Xiaomi enters the Indian personal grooming market with the Mi Beard Trimmer: Price and features

Chinese technology brand Xiaomi keeps on launching products other than smartphones every now and them. The company has a number of other products like sunglasses, fitness trackers, smart home devices, and more. Now, the company has released a new product in the personal grooming segment. The product is named Mi Beard Trimmer. Here are all the details that you need to know about it:

Mi Beard Trimmer price and availability

The new Mi Beard Trimmer is priced at Rs 1,199 and it will be available starting today. The users can buy the it from Mi.com, Amazon and Mi Home Stores.

The open sale of the new Mi Beard Trimmer will start from June 27 from 12pm (Noon) onwards and it will be available on the abovementioned platforms.

Mi Beard Trimmer features and specifications

Coming to the specifications and features of the new Mi Beard Trimmer, it comes with self-sharpening blades that has 0.5mm precision. The new trimmer from Xiaomi is capable of offering up to 90 minutes of battery life on a single charge and 10 minutes of use on a 5-minutes charge. It also has 40 length settings with two combs.

The blades of the Mi Beard Trimmer are made of stainless steel and since they are self-sharpening they can handle heavy usage without getting dull. The Mi Beard Trimmer also has a Travel Lock feature.

Since the new Mi Beard Trimmer comes with IPX7 certification, it can be washed with water without getting damaged. According to the company, the Mi Beard Trimmer can withstand submersion into water of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The new product from Xiaomi has a quad-edge design and it can be used with cord plugged in the wall socket. Other than this, the device also supports cordless use. The users can charge the device using a wall socket or via a power bank.
