Xiaomi had launched its Redmi K20 smartphone in China last month and now, the company has unveiled another handset globally which is the rebranded version of the smartphone. The new smartphone is named Mi 9T and it comes with the same specifications and design as the Redmi K20. Other than that, the company also launched the Mi Smart Band 4, Mi Electric Scooter Pro and the Mi True Wireless Earphones at the event. Here’s a look at the details of everything new that was launched:

Xiaomi Mi 9T price and availability
Mi 9T with 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage holds a price tag of EUR 329 (approximately Rs 25,900) while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant of the device has been priced at EUR 369 (approximately Rs 29,000). The Mi 9T comes in three colour variants – Carbon Black, Flame Red and Glacier Blue.
The 64GB storage variant of the Mi 9T will go on sale in Spain from June 17 onwards and it will be made available on Amazon and Mi.com stores for the first 24 hours. It should be noted that, for the first 24 hours, the Mi 9T with 64GB storage will be selling at EUR 299 (approximately Rs 23,500)
On the other hand, the 128GB storage variant of the Mi 9T hasn’t received a release date till now but the company has said that it will be available ‘in the coming weeks’.
Other than Spain, the company said that it will soon announce the availability information of the Mi 9T for other markets closer to the local launch. Other than European market, the Mi 9T will be making its way to Malaysia.
The Mi Smart Band 4 is priced at EUR 34.99 (approximately Rs 2,700) and it will be available in markets from June onwards. On the other hand, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro holds a price tag of EUR 499 (approximately Rs 39,200) and it will go on sale from June 13 onwards. Similarly, the Mi True Wireless Earphones is priced at EUR 79.99 (approximately Rs 6,300) and it will also be available from June 13 onwards.
Xiaomi Mi 9T specifications and features
Talking about the specifications of the Mi 9T, it sports a notch-less 6.39-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The Mi 9T runs Android 9 Pie skinned with MIUI 10 and supports dual-SIM (Nano). The Mi 9T comes with a unique flame design and has a four-sided curved glass back. The Mi 9T comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.
On the imaging front, the Mi 9T features a triple-rear camera with a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor with an f/1.75 aperture paired with an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The third camera is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.
Other features of the Mi 9T includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Mi Smart Band 4 features
The Mi Smart Band 4 was also launched at the Spain event and it is the same product which was unveiled in China earlier this week. It comes with a full-colour AMOLED screen and packs a 135mAh battery. According to the company, the Smart Band 4 can last up to 20 days on a single charge. In a statement, Xiaomi said, “In addition to the health and activity tracking features from previous generations, Mi Smart Band 4 now features a swim tracking mode to monitor swim length, time, swim strokes, SWOLF (a measure of swimming efficiency) and more.”
Mi Electric Scooter Pro features
The Mi Electric Scooter Pro is an electric scooter which was launched alongside the Mi 9T. According to the company, it offers up to 45km range on a single charge. It has a top speed of 25kmph. There is also a built-in multi-function display that shows the ride and other details.
“Its [Mi Electric Scooter Pro] portable folding design makes it a perfect last-mile solution and allows for easy storage. It features the same intuitive controls, double-braking system as well as a series of battery safety features,” Xiaomi said.
Mi True Wireless Earphones features
The last product launched by the company is the Mi True Wireless Earphones and we should mention that they look similar to Apple’s AirPods. The company has claimed that the earphones can offer up to 10 hours of music playback.
“Music playback automatically stops when either of the earpieces is removed from the ear and can also work independently for answering phone calls. Its [Mi True Wireless Headphones] intuitive touch controls let you tap or double tap to play/pause music, answer/end calls or activate voice assistants,” Xiaomi said.
