Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro new variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will launch tomorrow

The device can be purchased through Flipkart releasing tomorrow 12 noon onwards.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched in two storage variants in India – 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. But now the company is set to launch another variant of the handset. Xiaomi announced on its social media platform that the series will get a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

Xiaomi has priced Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant at Rs 15,999. The company on its official Twitter account revealed the price of the new variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro that it can be purchased through the Online store of the company or through e-commerce website Flipkart. The first sale of the new variant will start from tomorrow 12 noon onwards. To promote the launch of the smartphone, Airtel is offering 4G data up to 1,120 GB to its customers with the device. On the other hand, Reliance customers can avail double data benefits on prepaid recharges of above Rs 198.

To recall Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 Pro earlier in February this year. It was released in two storage variants in India 4GB RAM/64GB storage was priced Rs 13,999 and 6GB RAM/128GB storage was priced Rs 16,999. The smartphones come in three colour variants – Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Space Black colours.

The rest of the features and specification of the newly launched Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB RAM and 64 GB are similar to the devices the company launched before.

Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display. This comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop shaped notch. The device runs Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC and is available in 4GB/ 6GB RAM options paired with 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage. This is expandable by up to 256GB through microSD card. The device houses a 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0.

On the imaging front, it sports a dual rear camera setup that comes with a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor.  On the front, it has a 13MP sensor that can be used for selfies and video chats. Redmi note 7 Pro camera app comes with features like Artificial Scene Detection, Artificial Intelligence portrait 2.0 with Night mode options.

For connectivity, the device comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
