Xiaomi to launch Mi 10, Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Today: Here is how to watch the event live

The Chinese smartphone company is all set to launch Mi 10 in India today. The biggest USP of the smartphone is its 108megaixel camera sensor that can take on Samsung S20 Ultra. Xiaomi has also listed the device on e-commerce Amazon’s website to tease the availability of the handset. Amazon is the official sales partner for Mi 10 in India. The smartphone will come with 5G connectivity. Alongside Mi 10 the company has also confirmed to launch Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2. How to watch Livestream of Mi 10, Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2

As scheduled the company is going to launch Mi 10 Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones in India today. Due to coronavirus, the company will take the support of an online launch event that will begin at 12 noon onwards via the company’s YouTube Channel which is going to be live-streamed across all its social media channels including Mi.com. In China Mi 10, the company offers it in three variants, 8GB + 128G variant comes at CNY 3,999 that translates to Rs 40,000, the 8GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 4,299 that translates to Rs 43,000 whereas the high-end variant that is 12GB + 256GB model carries a price tag of CNY 4,699 that translates to Rs 47,000. All the three variants will be available in three colour options Titanium Silver Black, Peach Gold and Ice Blue colour. However as confirmed by Xiaomi’s CEO, the pricing model in India will be different this time due to imposed direct import, higher GST and depreciating rupee. Due to these factors, the pricing of the smartphone would go slightly higher.

Xiaomi Mi 10 specifications

Mi 10 runs on MIUI 11, based on Android 10. It comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED hole-punch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It houses a 4,780mAh battery that supports 30W wired as well as wireless charging and it also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

For photos and videos, Mi 10 features a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. Further aided by a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view, by twin 2-megapixel camera sensor. For selfies, there is a 0-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xiaomi Mi Box and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2

Mi Box is the best suitable device for those who have the older generation of Television at home. By using this you can upgrade it from a regular TV set to a Smart TV. The users will get 4K support via Mi Box along with Dolby Audio. It comes with built-in Chromecast support along with voice remote support. 

Besides this, the company will also launch Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 at the same event. The audio product will compete with Realme Buds Air that is priced at Rs 3,999 in India. Whereas Mi earphones 2 were launched globally by the company in March this year with a price tag of EUR 80 that comes around Rs 6,600. 

The  True Wireless Earphones 2 comes with a design similar to Apple AirPods. These come with a charging case to offer all day long battery life for connectivity. The Mi earphones feature 14.2mm drivers and come integrated with ENC for noise cancellation
