As we mentioned earlier, Android profiles work in a similar manner to user accounts on Windows PCs. Every user can customise the wallpaper, home screen, app layout, and other aesthetic aspects of their profile. The device settings can be customised for a specific profile as well. You can log into a profile using your Google account, although this step isn’t mandatory. However, a Google account is necessary if you want to download apps using the Play Store or back up your data on Drive. All user profiles on an Android device can share a SIM for calling and messaging purposes. If you’re on a tablet, you can create a restricted profile for someone else. These cameras are powered by AI for better surveillance. UP Police will also use tethered drones to monitor the crowds aerially. Additionally, an anti-drone system will limit other flying devices from accessing the congregation grounds. The security at Mahakumbh 2025 isn’t just limited to land and sky. There are underwater drones in place that can dive up to 100 metres and transmit real-time activity reports to the authorities. This will result in the installation of a corrupt OS. This is why it is recommended that you keep the Chromebook connected to its charger while updating it. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable

CES 2025: Lenovo unveils ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable and ThinkPad X9 Series AI Laptops Lenovo had a busy time at CES 2025 – its biggest highlights being new additions to the ThinkPad and ZenBook series. However, what caught our attention was its rollable display laptop. That’s right, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is the world’s first laptop with a rollable display. First unveiled as a concept two years ago, this laptop is finally available as a consumer product. With the press of a key or a simple hand movement, the display expands vertically from 14 inches to 16.7 inches. This display flaunts 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, 120Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits of brightness. The laptop is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 line of processors. It costs a whopping $3,499 (~ Rs 3,01,600).

Acer Nitro Blaze 8 & 11

Acer announced Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11 handheld gaming devices; Acer Nitro mobile controller also introduced Acer’s newest handheld gaming consoles go up against the likes of Nintendo Switch, Asus ROG Ally, and Steam Deck. The Nitro Blaze 8 & 11 are powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and pack AMD Radeon 780M graphics. The WQXGA touch displays (8.8-inch and 10.95-inch) have a 144Hz refresh rate and feature AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology for fast graphical upscaling and high-quality frames. The devices are equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage. The Nitro Blaze 11 has an integrated hotkey which links to the Acer Game Space software. It also gets DTS:X Ultra Audio, Hall Effects triggers and sticks, detachable controllers, a front-facing camera, and a built-in stand.

Nvidia Project Digits Nvidia’s showcase was one of the biggest highlights of CES 2025. The company announced the Project Digits AI supercomputer which is based on its Grace Blackwell platform. Project Digits is being touted by NVIDIA as the world’s smallest supercomputer. The GB10 Grace Blackwell chip powering this device delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance at FP4 precision. It also features an NVIDIA Blackwell GPU with 5th-gen Tensor cores and current-gen CUDA cores. The supercomputer is packed with 128GB RAM and 4TB of NVMe storage. It can run 200-billion-parameter large language models, killing the user’s reliance on cloud servers to access LLMs.

It can tap into the SmartThings ecosystem and adjust room settings after detecting anomalous behaviour in people and pets. Samsung also showcased its latest Neo QLED 8K QN990F Smart TV with Vision AI. This TV is powered by the latest NQ8 AI Gen3 processor. It can upscale images to 8K and optimise sound components using AI.

It just happens to have a cat bed attached to it. The air purifier adjusts its flow when a cat is sitting on the bed. Additionally, it warms the bed to create a cosy environment for your feline friend. The cat bed has an integrated scale to weigh your cat. It can measure the cat’s sleep cycle as well. These metrics can be accessed from the LG ThinQ app. If you have an older cat that struggles with jumping, the AeroCat Tower has a second platform to help it scale the height of the bed.

LG StanbyME 2

LG StanbyME 2 CES 2025 Roundup: Major highlights from the world’s biggest tech event! LG’s StanbyME sequel generated a lot of buzz at CES 2025. The battery-powered portable TV now comes with a strap that lets you hang it on a wall. LG has bumped the resolution of the 27-inch display from 1080p to 1440p. The StanbyME 2 offers a four-hour battery life, which is thirty minutes more than its predecessor. The briefcase cover with an integrated stand is still an essential part of the TV, especially when you’re taking on a road trip. There are 2 USB Type-C ports on the device if you want to connect any accessories to the TV while simultaneously charging it.

Nékojita FuFu

Nékojita FuFu CES 2025 Roundup: Major highlights from the world’s biggest tech event! The Nékojita FuFu was hands down the weirdest device showcased at CES 2025. It is essentially a mini robot that blows on hot drinks/food to cool them down. Why, you ask? Because it can. Yukai Engineering, the startup behind the portable robot, says that it is designed to help people who have a highly heat-sensitive tongue. The robot attaches to cups and plates and has an internal fan that generates a cool breath in a way that a human might. As of now, the Nékojita FuFu supports 8 blowing modes. These were our favourite highlights from CES 2025. Apart from the products mentioned above, we were also impressed by the auto tech on display. The Honda 0 SUV and 0 Saloon concepts along with Xpeng’s AeroHT flying car prototype were some of the most exciting auto showcases at the tech event.
